About us
This year, the Jerk Off festival celebrates its 16th anniversary. While there have been many changes in our communities and our lives over these 15 years, the festival has also evolved. But what hasn't changed, what has remained intact and is still bubbling in our hearts and minds, is our determination to defend emerging talent, creation and artists; to put all our strength and energy into it.
Jerk Off is there for artists who don't fit into predefined boxes, those who invent, who tell, who bear witness, whatever the form. We're also here to encourage our communities, all our communities, to highlight the richness and strength of our diversity.
Jerk Off is a safe place, where the only rules are kindness, listening and respect for all.
I hope you'll have as much fun discovering this edition as we've had programming it.
